All four (4) of the above images were created on my Galaxy Note III SmartPhone.  Images 1, 3, and 4, (From upper left to right) were drawn in application on the phone with the stylus--Wow! Without pencile, paper, crayon, charcol, pastels, paints, etc.   In just the time it took for me to enjoy a cup of coffee, I completed image No.1.  Image No.2., is actually a photograph taken with my Smartphone and edited with the Photoshop Express and Pic Art Appss that came with my Smartphone.  No longer are artist, designers and developers...  tied to the desk top computer.  Whatever you are eperiencing at the moment you can capture and express it your way in todays digital age.

The experts may say, "kid stuff" and they're probably right!  However, as for me it's still "Wow!"  It's not that these images are so fabulous in and of themselves, it is, however, the infinite possibilities of the things that can be done with just a little know how and imagination in just a few moments with the "Smartphont(s)" in todays 21st Century.

Loveman’s department store on Market Street in Chattanooga closed its doors in 1993 after almost a century in business, another victim of a nationwide decline in downtowns that hollowed out so many US towns. Now the opulent building is buzzing again, this time with tech entrepreneurs taking advantage of the fastest internet in the western hemisphere..."

Congratulations Mr. President

Spring has finally arrived as our new President has kept his "eye on the prize," and attained the passage of the new Health Care initiative.  Congratulations Mr. President!

Although the debate continues on both sides of the isle it is now apparent that we need to remind ourselves that America is comprised of  an intricate system of Jurisprudence, Democracy, and Freedom.  It has been said so many times before-this would be a very  boring world if everyone, looked alike, talked alike, walked alike, smelled alike, and yes thought alike:  Oh, how we like to boast about the diversity of our Free and Democratic Society-America.  However, the blight on American Society, and the Nation, as a whole, caused as a result of those who express their discontent of the results of a Democracy in Action, in ways that are in contravention of the Nation's System of Jurisprudence, and Democracy is not very Democratic, and it certainly isn't the connation of a Free Society--Which America is.

Allot of hard work, and sacrifice has gone into the making of America.  Although grievances still existing in our Society are far too numerous, complex, heart wrenching, and yes-unconscionable to lightly expound upon,  the methods, and processes designed, stated, and enumerated in our constitution and system of Jurisprudence mandates that we air our differences, and grievances in the appropriate designated venue(s); whereas, to do otherwise is anarchy.

President Barack Obama has not only talked about the effectuatinon of change through the Democratic Process-he has demonstrated change through the Democratic Process.

Congratulations Mr. President.

Happy New Year-2010! Why am I Surprised?

Happy New Year-2010_ NYU-Why am I Surprised?

2010 began with me at New York University on New Year’s Eve afternoon: Why am I surprised?

When I began my studies at SCPS-NYU I possessed all the excitement, an enthusiasm of anyone embarking on a new adventure, or should I say returning to a very promising one. After the initial induction into campus life, i.e., welcome address, a social or two, I immediately began to browse around campus, mainly via internet. I subscribed to a number of seemingly interesting forums. A mature student-I felt subscribing to a forum would be the best way to ascertain the area of best fit in the realm of academia without sticking out like a sore thumb among what NYU calls, "Traditional Students (a term I dislike as it connotes subjectivity, duplicity, discrimination and/or ambiguity)."
